Hello all,
I have recently purchased an Arduino UNO R3 and the Ethernet Shield 2. I am trying to connect this to an 8 channel relay. I utilize the Arduino plugin for Homeseer to communicate with the Arduino over the ethernet connection. It appears that pin 6 and 7 will not function as an output pin when the Ethernet shield is installed on the Arduino but will work fine when communicating with the Arduino over the USB connection. Are these pins (6 and 7) utilized by the Ethernet shield and not available as outputs or am I doing something wrong? I did notice that with these two pins connected to the relay while the Ethernet shield is installed the relay channel led will flicker but will not operate the relay.
Any thoughts I would certainly appreciate.
Thanks,
Ben
