Is there a functional difference between the SparkFun Red boards vs the Black boards?

Hi SeattleDavid,

There are a few minor differences between the SparkX (Black) and SparkFun (Red) versions but functionally, they should be identical. The main change you would notice is the "canned" Artemis module on the RedBoard that we added once it was FCC-Certified. Otherwise, there were some minor tweaks like the resistor values in the reset/boot circuit to improve performance.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion about differences between the Red and Black versions of the Artemis development boards.
