Hello,

Does anybody know how to get a GM862 module to work with a
"pay as you go" phone? I have a AT&T C168i phone and I can't get a
connection with the GM862. The GPS works fine and I can see the
SIM card. (AT#CCID reports the correct number)

If this will not work which provider and which plan will work
with this module?

I assume you're unable to dial a number with the GM862. Have you tried setting it to North American cell frequencies? I believe it defaults to the European ones so it may just not be getting a fix to the network.

The similar GE-863 module works OK with Pay as you Go SIMs, here in the UK at any rate.
