I was initially successful in talking to the BlueSMiRF using hyperterminal. I then issued the command "ATSW25,0,0,0,0" which puts the device into Slave mode as well as Fast Data Mode. This leaves the device unresponsive to commands through either the UART and hyperterminal via bluetooth.
I issued a factory reset by putting PIO(4) high (3.3Vdc as specified) for at least a second on power up, which should set the device back to factory resets.
I still cannot communicate with the device, even though the red light does turn on indicating connection. Does anyone else have experience with this?
Help would be greatly appreciated!
