hye everyone..
can u suggest me a simple transceiver chip/module that is cheap.its better if i can get the sample of it. i want to use it for my final year project.any frequency would do.thanx in advance!

TRW24 is almost perfect
or another based on 2401 series from Nordic

I'm partial to the 24L01 chip, the 2401's big brother. It has a true SPI interface and a bunch more functionality. You can also check out a bunch of examples for it at my website in my signature line . Sparkfun sells a breakout of it (the MiRF-v2 and MiRF-v2 RP-SMA).
