I can connect using my serial com program and use the AT and +++, I tried the ATDI,4,00000000 but it said done without showing anything. I am getting "OK" with AT though.

problem: I'm not getting the right data from the rx line at the moment all I get is 255 again and again. I am sending some numbers from my PIC serial output.... my hardline reads them fine, but I can't get the right data from my bluetooth

solution: ....any ideas?

could this be the RS232 to tty.... even without my hardline connected? If so, how do I do that with my PIC?
I also tried the different suggestions for shorting the RTS CTS, I even saw someone short the TX RX. neither worked.
Please help

p.s. I am also trying to rename my DIP module so it doesn't appear as blue radios on the PC
