I’ve got a couple of Sparkfun 4-digit 7-segment displays (Red - COM-09483 & White - COM-10931) and don’t know how to wire them up and drive them.
Do you have any tutorials that could help?
Thanks

Hi rmultiple,

Unfortunately, we do not have any tutorials to help with wiring these specific displays. The example code available to download from the "Documents" tab on the product page does list the pin assignments to connect the display to an Arduino but without knowing which pins are which on the displays, that will be a bit confusing. I would recommend reviewing the datasheets (Red and White to get started.

We also use these 7-Segment displays on our 7-Segment Serial Displays with an ATMega328 so you can also refer to the schematic as that lists the pins as well. Finally, PIN1 is going to be the bottom-left pin if you are looking at the display with the decimals at the BOTTOM of the display.

I am sorry we do not have a specific tutorial for these bare displays but hopefully, this information helps you get started. One other option would be to search sites like Instructables and Hackster.io for projects that use these or similar displays for some help hooking them up. Let us know if you have any other questions about these displays and we would be happy to help as much as we can.
