I am trying to use the AST-CAN485 board to control a chain of MDrive Plus motors from Schneider Electric. I followed the RS485 hookup guide on Sparkfun and I am using the RS485 Arduino library provided in the guide. I have tested my communications cables within the daisy chain when connected directly to PC and they all function via terminal commands.
When I print to the RS485, the output pins are active, but the motors either aren't receiving the messages or there is an issue with the String I'm sending.
Has anyone worked with these two components together? Any feedback or tips for troubleshooting would be much appreciated.
