Hi All.
I’m looking at the Sparkfun SD/MMC Card Breakout:

Studying the board's Eagle artwork and the datasheet for the SD card socket, it looks to me like the connections for CD (card detect) and VSS1 (aka ground, Pin 3 on socket) are reversed.
See attached pictures.
