Could you provide a table of the power (current draw) requirements for your various Arduino-compatible boards? Is there a significant difference in the basic power requirements for the boards? This is important information for building solar-powered projects. With very low-power sensors, the basic board current requirements will determine what is required to keep these devices running continuously with, for example, your Sunny Buddy MPPT charger and a LiPo battery.

If you are serious about low power, build your own "bare bones" board following the advice in this tutorial: https://www.gammon.com.au/power You can achieve the same results by removing the regulator and unneeded parts from a Pro Mini (for example).

No need to use a problematic LiPo, either. A supercap will work fine as described here: https://www.gammon.com.au/forum/?id=12821
