Hi all,
I was wondering what would be the best way to approach object tracking.
My project is using motors to control the direction of an object based on the location of another object. The object with the motor is stationary and just spins based on where the 2nd object is moving around. What type of sensors would best relay location data? I was considering gps but I don't know how accurate it is when objects are within close proximity. I don't know what the best options are for this so any help is appreciated!

GPS outdoors is really the only practical and inexpensive locator available. Expect at best +/- 2 m accuracy and sometimes much worse.

If you have money to spend, Pozyx is claimed to work well indoors. https://www.pozyx.io/
