Hi all,

I am using the easy stepper board with this motor: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9238 and the motor was working very well. Now, the motor will not turn when I control the motor, but when I help the motor by hand, he will start and continue turning but is very weak.
In this case, nothing is attached to the motor axis. It is running free. What can the problem be? Broken easy stepper controller?

Thanks in advance...

the power supply was checked, and is ok. The microcontroller gets his 5 volt from the converter on the easy stepper driver.
The potmeter for current control is the last thing we can check. All the wires are checked and are ok.
In some cases, you have to turn them to - (minus) to increase the current. Not sure which version I have. But it is strange that when I help the motor, that it's continue turning....
When the control current is set to minimal, I should still be able to run the motor free without anything attached to the axle.
