Hey guys,
I'm a total noobie and I much as I'm trying to keep it simple I think I might be getting in over my head so I will try explain as best as I can.
I have the sparkfun mp3 trigger WIG-11029 and I am planning on connecting it to this PIR motion sensor https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13285 to trigger sounds when movement is detected.
I also want to add voice activation to trigger the sounds but I'm not sure if I can use a mic like this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9964 or this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8635 ? or if I should use a voice activation kit like this with a relay http://www.electrokit.com/en/minvox-and-relay.41482 or something similar? and if it is then I'm not sure how to connect it to the MP3 trigger.
As it's my first time working with this I want to try and keep it simple. I will be only triggering the MP3 files stored on the memory card and I dont need it to be advanced.

Has anyone tried this? or have any suggestions or advice please let me know.
