I connected my thumb joystick to the ADC pin of a LPC1769 board, and used the pin to read the value of the joystick. The value I read will change according to how i move the joystick.However,if i move it to the right, the up value changed. why? is it because my joystick has broken? looking forward to your reply.(the other directions are all correct)

Putting extra exclamation marks on a title won't get you help any faster. Seems as though the joystick works since you're getting some kind of response. Maybe it's software..

What joystick ? What are you seeing ? That you move the stick left/right and both outputs change ? By how much ?
