I'm looking for dead simple way to broadcast a custom SSID. I know that Arduinos often come with WiFI capability and you can by add-on modules for WiFi, but I'm looking for a stand alone device whose only purpose is to broadcast a SSID. I'd likely buy a battery to power it, but just need a little guidance on what to look for.

Would one of these work?
