Not too long ago I purchased a Pro Micro 5V which has unfortunately been side tracked due to a broken USB connector. I've already gone back and forth with SFE and gotten my refund - I wasn't going to get a replacement with the possibility of the connector breaking again. However, rather than tossing the whole thing, and with no way to repair the connector, is there another way of programming it? I tried connecting my mkII to the MOSI/MISO/SCK/RST and power pins and while AS6.1 sees it as far as detecting the voltage, it can't enter programming mode. So I can't read off a signature, nor actually program anything to it. So I wonder, is that even possible? Is there some way of uploading programs to this thing so it's not a total loss?
