Well, I presume when a small puff of smoke is emitted along with a bright flash, that means a fuse has fired. They originated at a small thing at the corner of the GPS board.
This was the very first time that the unit was powered up (yes, the polarity was correct).
The red and blue lights both are illuminated and flashing.
I'm guessing this is a return issue. Suggestions?
