Discussions about carrier boards have here!
#228712
Hi,

I've purchased a SARA-R510M asset tracker carrier board with the ESP32 micro-mod processor and really like the experience so far! However, I've noticed that when I'm downloading files, the process of writing to internal flash on the ESP32 is causing the UART FIFO to the SARA to overflow, causing bytes to drop.

Using the micromod update tool and an external ESP32, I've found that enabling RTS/CTS for that UART resolves the issue, but on the carrier board, that appears to be broken out to pins 13/15, which appear not to be connected on the ESP32. Is there a way to get those lines from somewhere on the board to connect to the ESP32 (or know of another workaround for flash writes causing the FIFO to overflow)?

Thanks in advance!
