I am having a problem finding the output voltage for the Sunny Buddy ( Is it related to the voltage of the battery supply? two of my components require 12v and I am hoping to not be forced to use some kind of DC step up. It would be nice to have a 12v system naturally.

Long story short I am looking to use this for a 12v application where the mppt controller will supply an udoo x86, an arduino uno, as well as varied sensors and a camera system. I believe that the sunny buddy is good for any li-po battery up to 14.4v is that correct? I am looking to purchase a li-po 12v with at least 6 aH and hopefully more. if anyone has a lead on a good battery let me know :)

As a brief glance at the Sunny Buddy product page will show, it is intended for solar panels with output voltage between 6 and 20V, and is for charging single cell LiPo batteries. The output voltage should never exceed 4.2V.

If you want a 12V system, lead acid batteries are preferred as they are cheaper and much more tolerant of abuse.
