Adafruit sells some strings based on the LDP8803/8806 IC and there's some Arduino libraries for it.

There's also a TM1803 IC that I know nothing about. Looks like a W2811 clone ?

My fault. I meant driver!
I am just looking for other ICs that are beuing used to make the "Christmas lights" style individuality addressable LEDs strings.

So far its looks like these are the options divided into 1 wire or 2 wire categories:

I still can not find that TI chip that I stumbled across the other day.. I guess its not used very much.
