There are two sets of two pins. In each set, they are usually connected together. Normally, you only use one pin (either one) of each set; the choice often depends on which pin is easiest to route to on a PCB. The button, when pressed, connects the two sets together.

To figure out which pins are which, just use an ohmmeter or a lightbulb in series with a battery to make a continuity tester.
