Has anyone here used MSPGCC with Olimex JTAG-TINY?

Thanks in advance

AFAIK the mspgcc tools only work with the original parallel FET.

I tried a search but couldn't find anything. I normally use CrossWorks, anyway. They don't support bi-wire. 8-(

I've got the TI msp430FET USB JTAG device working with mspgcc/gdbproxy so if the Olimex device is similar, it might work.

but the MSPGCC tools definitely work with the TI USB JTAG tool on Linux. And there's no need to tweak the driver to recognize it anymore since the kernel supports it directly.

Yes! I am successfully using it. Worked with:
  • * mspgcc tools (msp430-jtag and msp430-gdbproxy)
    * Rowley Crossworks 1.4
