Discussions on how to get your MSP JTAG programmer up and running.

I have changed to Windows 7 computer from a Windows XP computer. I am having trouble getting my Olimex MSP430-JTAG-ISO to work with Crossworks.

I followed these instructions to install the drivers:
http://www.olimex.com/dev/pdf/MSP430/Ho ... 20JTAG.pdf

The directions pertain to Windows XP but I think I was able to do it under Windows 7. Device manager reports the Olimex device and says it is working properly.

I followed these instructions to use the Olimex JTAG with Crossworks
http://www.olimex.com/dev/soft/msp430/J ... sworks.txt

It doesn't connect or do anything else after I follow these instructions. I get this error when I right click on MSP430 DLL Interface:
Cannot load target driver DLL C:/Program Files/Rowley Associates Limited/CrossWorks for MSP430 2.0/bin/Olimex_MSP430.dll

And I get this error when I try to connect:
Cannot load DLL (error 126): The specified module could not be found.

I am stuck here. I tried redoing the process with the same results.

Does any one know what I am doing wrong

Thanks:
Phil S
