I am new in MSP microcontrolers. I lake to work wih the MSP430-easyWeb2 from olimex.

What I need:
- Programmer: msp430-JTAG ?
- Original Software: Andreas Dannenberg easyWeb TCP/IP
- Compiler, linker, debugger:
- Purchase the IAR WorkBench msp 430
OR
- Free MSPGCC

definitely, you will be not able to program and debug MSP430 without it

yes, unless you want to make your own TCP/IP stack
you can download sources from our web page

Purchase the IAR WorkBench msp 430

the remarkable thing is that there are several C compiler vendors already for MSP430 beside IAR: Quadravox, ImageCraft, Rowley, MSPGCC

I believe any of these will run the TCP/IP stack with slight modification.
In matter of fact IIRC there was posting on the net that several guys have been compiled the TCP/IP stack on MSPGCC but the code length was about twice than what IAR compiler produces, which definitely is not a problem as F149 have 60K of Flash
