Hello,

i try to install the olimex msp430 jtag tiny module without success even if i follow the installation steps of the "MSP430 JTAG drivers" ( Ver.1.038 - 07-APR-2010 ).
I unzip the archive, i launch "USBXpressInstaller.exe" to install drivers.
I connect the module to pc's usb connector i follow the steps but the installation "freeze" during the last step when windows try to copy "silib.sys".

Please help me!!!!!!

Hi,
I had the same problem on my laptop. The Silab driver wouldn't install (froze the computer). After lots of looking around and playing, I found that installing the drivers in Safe Mode let it install OK.
I'm runnig Windows XP.
(I'm using NoIce (www.noicedebugger.com), and it's working great).
