I am trying to get the SD card working with the MSP430 169LCD micro-controller. What I want to do is get the MSP to read information from a MIDI track saved on an SD card and hopefully display this information on the display as a music note or similar.
I have used the sample code given on olimex site and the card is reconised however I am finding it difficult to move on from here and actually reading data particularly the MIDI file from the card. Has anyone any experience working with MIDI on this micro-controller or know where I can get information on how to implement this procedure?
Any help would be appreciated, on MIDI files, sample code etc.
