I had just gotten the drivers to work for the Olimex, and downloaded into my MSP430FG4618 without incident. Within a minute, I tried again, I don't think I moved anything, but now the Tiny is not recognized, similar to others complaints in the past, See viewtopic.php?t=6307.
I tried it on 3 other machines, with different cables, all with the same result, an unrecognizable USB device, the green light is on, and that is about it. One thing I did notice is that the MSPPROG program updated the firmware, right before my "successful" flash programming, whatever that means
Can anyone help, I want to use the Olimex debugger, because it was much faster than the MSP430 FET, just as advertised, but other people have had this same exact problem, and Olimex's response is always "works fine here", "try another computer", "try another cable", "re-install the drivers", "send it back" but no definitive answer to a seemingly common flaw in their device.
