I built my own OpenLog on a protosheild using an Atmega328 dip and a full size SD card socket and the other parts. And it does not work.. I am using version 1.6something of the OpenLog Firmware and have connected it by a NewSoftSerial passthrough to the Arduino USB uart. I have three FAT format SD cards, one 16mb, 1 128 mb, 1 2gb.

The 16 mb card, which is newly formatted and empty, gives me the 12> prompt when I power up. It then tells me that it cannot create configuration file. Some commands are responded to (esp. Echo Off) but basically everything provokes a 'cannot create config file" error.

The other two cards make the OpenLog simply print 1's at a rate of one every two seconds and it will nto respond to any commands at all.

Anybody have an idea what's up?

Hey, anybody here? I updated to firmware 2.41, which worked for a while, and then stopped working. It now just spits out 1's as fast as the serial port will take them.
