Help with ATmega128RFA1 Dev Board

Hi ,
Recently I bought ATmega128RFA1 Evaluation Kit From Atmel

and after searching for tutorials for beginning the development with the kit
I found the ATmega128RFA1 Dev Board Hookup Guide from sparkfun
and the development Board developed by them
I'm a beginner with using these type of kit
so can I use the source code included in the guide with my own kits from atmel ?
can I map the pins of the atmel kits to the arduino like the sparkfun one ?
and also can you suggest me a tutorial for beginning the development with the atmel kit ?
