Hello, I stumbled upon a problem today with my LCD.
I was programming my arduino and suddenly my LCD just stopped working, now it only shows blocks, like it isn't getting any information or something.
I'm a bit new, but have been using arduino for a month so I know a little, but I can't find anyone who has had the same problem.

I m working with LCD in arduino UNO for about a year. But suddenly i have encountered the same problem as yours. When i tried it with atmega16 its working fine, but not with arduino UNO. If u had sort out the problem for it please help me. It would be a very useful.

Can you try check contrast on its pin using voltmeter?

thank you for your response.
i tried all possiblities with contrast. my wondering is why it is not working on arduino but it can work fine with avr board.
My faculty said the initialisation has been done correctly but communication is not proper.
