Hi,

I have an AVR ISP MKII programmer.. It has 6 Pins to use in order to program and AVR.
This http://www.sparkfun.com/products/36 has a 10 pin ICSP port ...
according to page 5 of the Atmel manual http://www.atmel.com/dyn/resources/prod ... oc2521.pdf
the 6 Pin interface and the 10 Pin interface are different.

The ISP MKII has a "virgin" 10 pin array, do I need to use that array and not the standard 6 pin cable?
I have probed the pins and found the VTG of the 10 pin array is connected to GND,

Will I still be able to use the AVR ISP MKII with the mentioned breakout board?
If so, is it just a matter of soldering on 10 pins?

Thank you,
