These things just look awesome. perhaps you could resell them?

They are a multimeter built into a set of tweezers, so when you pick up a component, it will measure it and tell you what it is. It even has same basic scope functionality.

That is a pretty cool device. Maybe a little pricy though.

Also, if you read the specs carefully, you'll see that the maximum DC input voltage is 800mV. They say there's an "optional slide switch manual mode" that increases the range to 8VDC. I could possibly see damaging the instrument if they don't have good front-end protection. Even if the protection is there, 8VDC is a pretty low voltage limit and that appears to be with some sort of optional switch (which they don't explain at all). I'd want to know more before I sunk $250 USD into an instrument like this.

Another alternative might be to get "tweezer" leads from someone like Pomona Electronics for your existing 'scope or meter. I have several sets of these leads and the come in handy.
