I would have much interest in a ge863 board. Especially if Sparkfun mounted the GE863-PRO³ on it. This paticular variant can run LINUX. Just consider the possibilities of a tiny module with full linux that speaks IP over GSM. Note, when I spoke with the telit rep I was advised not to use the 862 module due to it's being end of life. It's time to update the board and offer the 863 running linux and/or the 864 series where you can use one board and module family for gsm, umts, or cdma - just choose the module in that family for the technology you need. 2 boards would be the best option one with connector for the 864 family and the other with an 863pro3-linux mounted.

When we will see new products based on Telit modules?

GE910-GNSS looks very interesting. Python programmable (2.7 python, multithreaded).
