I swear I read about them somewhere before, even seen a page where I could purchase them. I thought there was a topic on it in this forum but couldn't find it.
Anyway, and I2C LCD backpack would we really really sweet. I don't know how much PICs use I2C, but the ATMega's usually come with (TWI).
I was actually thinkin about makin my own using an ATMega8 that was accidently shipped SMD and not PDIP to me, but graduation is comin up and I don't have a lot of free time, especially with my last semester of senior design.
