BEAM robots for example charge by solar panels during the day and are active by night. Nice idea for a robot or remote sensor. does the nimh aa battery have to be charged a surtain way?

Yeah, I dont' know off the top of my head, but there are current and temperature monitoring and such that need to be done. A quick google searh should bring up some info. Try "NMH Battery charger".
