I found these awesome chips from Texas instruments which seems to be a really good choice for projects involving IOT
but the problem is they are BGAs so not everyone can use them
it'd be good if there were some breakout boards for these

It's an ARM Cortex-M0 nd can use free Eclipse dev tools. 31 I/O available to use. The module is also available here https://www.tindie.com/products/hnhoan/ ... cortex-m0/ with breakout board. Many example source code on blog site including iOS source.
