Using some of your products (such as the Pro Micro and some of the small breakout boards) with a standard prototyping breadboard can be a bit frustrating, since they're wide enough that you only get a couple of usable holes on either side. I haven't found any breadboards with a wider center gap currently being produced. There was apparently one years ago called the "experimenter 600" (you can find a couple pictures of it with a web search), but it's been out of production for a long time.

Anything with a wide DIP form factor. I'm thinking mostly of the small microcontroller boards like the Pro Micro, Pro Mini, Teensy, etc., but if could also be useful for other things like the various "SSOP to DIP" breakout boards.

This is one soluthion to the problem, but it seems like too much work to me.

All those boards are 0.1" spacing..

They're not talking about the pin spacing but rather the gap down the center of the breadboard.
