Hi, I am trying to see if there is an interest in these enclosures for your Arduino or general automation projects. Please take a look at our listings below. We have quite a few of these and thought they maybe handy for your custom designs. Pictures are in our eBay listing. Hope it is OK to post this here. They are unique. Thought it would be fun to see what all of you enthusiasts here maybe able to do with these. We purchased for a large project that did not materialize.

We have some eagle pcb files and dxf label files to speed up your custom designs. They were posted on the arduino.cc forums a few days ago.:

What follows is the full description.

The enclosure is a black two pieces design with 12 light pipes integrated into the top cover. The light pipes allow use of standard surface mount LEDs directly mounted to PCB. Since the light pipes are clear, they allow use of multi-color LEDs. The LED output is conveniently channeled to the top cover. A custom PCB of your design is secured directly to the base using up to 4 non-symmetrical screw bosses. Base is 6.35" x 4.03". Height is 2.45" overall.

It snaps directly onto a 35 mm DIN Rail. It can also be wall mounted via two key-hole style cutouts on the base. There are two additional screw eyelets if the unit needs to be secured to a panel or wall with the narrow side parallel to the floor allowing wire entries on left/right side instead of top/bottom.

There are two large open slots at the front and the back measuring 5.75" wide by 0.6" high. They allow a custom number of terminal blocks, DB-9, DB-25, USB or RJ-45 connectors as well as additional LEDs or switches to be mounted on the custom PCB and externally accessible. This is done without drilling any holes or cutouts.

The box can be used for many industrial or automation electronics projects including Arduino style projects. Please see PCB diagram with relative size of Arduino UNO. Sample Eagle PCB layout files can be provided with exact screw mount locations as well as locations for surface mount LEDS positioned under the light pipes. A DXF file can also be provided for creating custom labels for the top of the enclosure.

Thanks.
