Do you realize that you raised the price if you get 2? Including shipping, you can get one at $10, but if you buy 2 the price is $12 each. If you buy 5 or more, the price is a little less than $10.

Once the remaining 60 early bird backers are gone, the pricing makes more sense.
Regardless, looking at the product/datasheet/schematic, a few things..:
There is the 5/3v3 movable jumper for your boards' voltages - more than can be said for others here &@ ada...
It’s a µUSB rather than a mini – which is the industry direction
Has 280mA 3.3v power (what they say) or USB power for your board/project, if you want to use it, even when the FTDI has been switched off
If your board/project is already powered, the FTDI can use your board/project’s voltage as reference (removing the voltage jumper)
The DTR/RTS is helpful with some boards
The datasheet says it includes a 1x6 M/M header (if you don’t happen to have one and want to put the USB to serial converter on your breadboard)
It has most of the LEDs I'd like to see.
It looks like a bit more flexible product than others on the market. I’ve signed up for one. We’ll see if it gets funded & they can deliver.
