This was on HackADay a while ago:
http://hackaday.com/2010/10/14/android-oscilloscope/

The second i saw it, i thought "wow sparkfun must have it!"

The develoer has shared the code and schematics etc, it can obviously be improved upon a lot.

Please please please, can we get a dual-channel and four-channel scopes for phones ? Bluetooth is great but bandwidth limited, i dont mind Wifi or cabled connection either, as long as i can use an existing phone or tablet to display the data.

Just curious: why would you want such a tiny screen for scopes when you can get used real oscilloscopes cheap on eBay?

One reason would be serious portability. My son is a photographer. Sometimes he finds it very handy to have a scope to diagnose lighting issues and adjust timing. But to carry even a "lunch pail" scope is way too much. Something he can pop in a pocket would be tolerable. Not sure if this is the OP reason, but it is why I am looking at these tiny scopes.

Yes portability is my main concern as well, having it always available. And also just not taking up more desk real estate when not absolutely needed.
I actually ended up throwing away one old heavy scope that i had around when moving.

Basically all the same reasons why DSO Nano exists.
