I am planning a "light show" experiment with Some rebel LEDs and some of those green lasers you sell. The rebel LEDs can consume up to 1a of electricity, and the laser about 400ma at max. I would love some solid state solution to switching on and off that much current without the noise of a relay, and the optoisolator boards only go up to 50ma on the specs. A solid state solution will also allow me to PWM the LEDs and slow pulse the laser in a way I need to. If I have missed an easy solution, let me know, that would be great.

SparkFun's MOSFET is currently out of stock, but they are a very common electrical component that you should be able to pick up anywhere.
