would it be possible to add one of the 3 axis magnetometers to the 6 dof imu? I'm not sure how much drift the IMU might have, but the magnetometer may help minimise drift.

This has been requested by a few customers. We'll see if we can wedge it onto v3.

BTW do you know of any sources for code to integrate the sensor readings into an attitude estimate (euler angles of quaternion or similar). I have some single axis code for a robot, but am looking for some good 3 axis kalman filter or something to work withthe 6dof IMU.
any suggestions would be great

When will 6DOF V3 be available? Will it have the magnetometer as mentioned above?

I would also like to see a GPS receiver to further correct drift.

I'd really like to see this. I didn't see a breakout board for the magnetometer module, so it's a little more work to use than I want to deal with.

Is it possible to get a hardwired version of the IMU without reverting to V1?
