You might be able find info on this device lying around the internet. maybe nathan could help there as well. I'm pretty sure I recall seeing something on the SFE site about it.

I see the comment above from rgbphil regarding making a pressure measurement array for dragon boats. I row in a Cornish gig, a traditional 6 rower, fixed seat, wooden boat. I have been trying to set up some pressure measurement devices to monitor timing, stroke rate and individual effort. I see the last comment here is May 2009, did anyone ever advance this idea?

Only three years late, but check out the MS5611.
