I want purchase, for my laboratory, the component at surface mount (SMD), resistor and capacitor. The dimension that I need are: or 0805 or 0603.
For the resistor I prefer the 1% tollerance.

Where I can purchase that components in stock?

There is any suggestion? As an indication how much I can spend?

Where are you from? Digi-Key.com is always reasonably priced depending on the quantity.

I want a kit whit all values. There is anything?
I have seen www.distrelec.it, but it is very expensive. The price is abaut 250/300 € (0603 1%) this is a link

Otherwise I have to buy 5000 pieces for value, and spend about 150€ (0603 1%) link

Futurelec, digikey, farnell etc. are really a rip off when comes to shipping costs (18€ minimum shipping costs at digikey and digikey has the cheapest shipping costs, wtf??)


Ebay is a goldmine for such cases.

Here's where I buy my smd resistors/caps at:

5000pcs 0805 resistors sorted in boxes, 50 values, 32$

Check the seller's other items. He also has a 0603 kit for about the same price. Also all kits can be bought without the boxes (sorted in small bags) where price is the same. Note that the price also includes shipping

The resistors above have 5% tolerance though but 5% is more than enough for 99% of the projects. If you want 1% check this:

Also ask the seller if he ships insured packages, it will cost just a few bucks more (like 2-3$) but its safer this way because I hear all the time that packages to italy are often lost for some reason. Some ebay sellers won't ship to Italy uninsured and some even won't ship at all for that reason.

I bought mine in reels (10000 pieces) of 0402 size at USD10 with 1% tolerance from a local supplier. 0603 is cheaper because it's 4000 or 5000 in a reel, which is about half of the price.
