pic ant ide with cc5x would allow software debugging

Hi, I was tempted to use c2c but then I found out the licence ran out.
cc5x seems interesting, but I relly like the option of useing software to step through my code insted of getting the ice to do it. (it also proably costs money.) Also being able to impliment more math stuff.
Has anyone thought of useing picant ide as the ide of choice over jfe? I also like its code folding & setup wizards. It generates a/d converter code for the pic in your project rs232 stuff etc.
