SP0256 Speech Synthesizer

Hello,
I've used the General Instruments SP0256A-AL2 chip for a while now. It's really been easy to find information about this chip and I've learned that there's several variants out there. I just came across one of them, the SP0256A-053. I've only found a couple vague mentions of this chip and I'd love to find out more about it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
