Hi, I need to panel mount a 6mm laser mod through a 9mm wide panel, 2mm
thick. I've had no luck looking for anything even remotely related.
All the nice panel mount stuff is for 3mm or 5mm lased diodes, not 6mm
laser modules. So I took apart my Bosch GLM-15 laser measure. They
have a laser, a lens plate, then this plastic cap. It doesn't appear
to collimate. it's just clear cap in line with the lasser and lens but
not touching, with 6mm inner dia, and 4mm length, and a slightly

It's perfect for what I need. But I can't locate one
anywhere and don't know what else to call it. Plastic cap, plastic
lens, non collimating lens, clear lens, etc.etc.. Can you please help
me find out what it's called, and where I can get some? Surely that
stupid little plastic cap isn't proprietary....?
