data.sparkfun.com timeouts

I'm posting data every 15 minutes to three different streams on data.sparkfun.com.
Recently, only approx 75% of the posts are successful. I have similar (75% success) rates when pulling data back from the site.
I appreciate that the site is free, however are these issues likely to be sorted any time soon? Is there an upgrade to a paid, more reliable service, or am I better off creating my own LAMP based system?
