Hi there!

I salvaged a DC motor from an old espresso machine that broke, and would like to repurpose it to convert my manual coffee grinder into an electric one.
I found the motor's specs here: https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/view/ ... n-electric

But I have no idea how to control such a high voltage motor, nor how to power it up.. :/ I will need a AC/DC converter apparently, since the specs says it's a DC motor.. but I've never heard of a PSU that would convert AC current to 230V...?

Also, what kind of controller should I wire it to?

Thanks in advance :)

Your lack of knowledge of even the basics along with the high voltages required mean the only thing I can recommend is that you do NOT attempt this project.

For the coffee grinder, better to use a low voltage DC motor. In either case, a switch would be fine as a controller.
