Hey All,
I've tinkered for a while but never mastered any of this.
I'm putting together a Slow Motion Video Booth at work. I have an external Monitor/Recorder that has a built in GPIO port, which operates at 3.3v. Using that port I was able to trigger a recording with a simple momentary switch.
The question I have is how do I emulate that with an Arduino(5v)? Will a TIP120 work or is that only for higher voltages? Should I use an optocoupler to isolate voltages? I have been able to find a lot of info about controlling 5v with 3.3v, but not the other way around.
